"The Room"

Every body has a spot, draw, room etc. that well looks like a bomb went of in it. Ours happens to be the shared craft/xbox room. Ever since we moved in nearly a year ago its been dumped upon, it got cleaned once, just pretty much so Reagan's new chair could be put in there, my desk just kept piling up with crap, leaving crafting time to become non existent, cause i had to deal with that mess and i really hated the thought. So Easter came along, good Friday was free, everyone else had to work, so i got stuck in to it, still want to paint my desk another colour as well as the little shelves, but looks so much better, now i am actually spending time in there creating and i love it.

Before shots: Trashy and nasty looking

After Shot: See much more pretty and nicer

OOTD: Road Trip Wear

Something casual for our road trip north for a lazy Sunday picnic. I have always loved this shirt, it was the 1st red thing I'd brought, I got it years ago, its actually got white polka dots all over it. I didn't get a picture of my shoes, but I'm sure you will see them again, one of my favourite pairs.

Reagan and his dad both have an amazing sweet tooth, nothing it too rich or sweet for them both and well since Easter was upon us I thought I would do some baking. I seen this recipe in the paper and decided I'd make it. The 6hrs of cooling was a touch annoying but worth it in the end, 2 thumbs up.

Note: I used to smaller size cake tins as I never had 2 of what they stated, so my cake was smaller but thicker. Also when cooling the cakes, use the grease proof paper on the cooling racks, I learnt the hard way when mine stuck.. oops! I didn't have white eggs so I just grated some left over white chocolate from the custard. The cake is very easy to make. Happy Baking xx

Photography Adventures

Last weekend was a non working one for me, but the Saturday Reagan worked, so I had a day to myself. So I took myself on a little advantage. I went to Fingal Bay, about a hour north of where I live to watch the sunrise, weather watch said it was going to be beautiful, I woke to full on fog and when I got there, the cloud was on the horizon and seem to travel with the sun, though this never stopped me and then in the afternoon i took a walk around the local botanical gardens, as I have never been before.

Here are some of the pictures on my adventure:
